RCMP search for missing RM of Springfield teen last seen in Winnipeg

Oakbank RCMP are asking for the public's help locating a missing teenager from the Rural Municipality of Springfield who was last seen in Winnipeg.

Sarah Fontaine, 16, was last seen in the Polo Park area around 11 a.m. CDT on Saturday. She was last heard from just before 2 p.m., RCMP said.

Fontaine is five feet three inches tall with a heavier build. She was last seen wearing a pink hoodie and black pants with white lettering. She was carrying a large, shiny red purse.

RCMP said they believe the teenager is in the Winnipeg area, but she also has ties to the Powerview-Pine Falls area.
