Woman missing after report of assault at Thompson home: RCMP

RCMP are asking for help finding a 20-year-old woman who they say is missing after an assault was reported in Thompson, Man., last week.

Police wentto a home on Pike Crescent on Aug. 11 after an assault wasreported. Officers spoke with several residents but couldn't determine what happened earlier that day at the residence.

RCMP said officers had since been trying to speak to a 20-year-old woman who might have information about what happened, but police have not been able to locate her for over a week, and her current whereabouts are unknown.

Angel Kraeker, 20, of Thompson is now considered missing, RCMP said in a news release Wednesday.

Kraeker is five feet, four inches tall, has black hair and brown eyesand weighs 160 pounds.
