Musician Ed Sheeran announces Winnipeg summer tour date

Less than 24 hours after performing his platinum single "Thinking Out Loud"at theGrammys,Brit pop-rocker Ed Sheeran has announced a string of Canadian tour dates for the summer of 2015includinga stop in Winnipeg.

Sheeran, who walked away empty-handed Sunday night despite three Grammy nods,is slated to play Winnipeg's MTS Centre June 12.

Tickets range from$69.50 to $86.Pre-saleopens Feb. 23 at 10 a.m., while regular ticket sales open to the public Feb. 27 at 10 a.m.

Sheeranwas last here in 2013 when he opened for Taylor Swift at Investors Group Field on the University of Manitoba campus.
