North End stabbing sends man to hospital with serious injuries

A man was seriously injured during an assault in the area of Selkirk Avenue and Main Street early Sunday morning, said Winnipeg police Const. Rob Carver.

A man was seriously injured during an assault in Winnipeg's North End on Sunday morning.

The assault happened at about 2:15 a.m. at the corner of SelkirkAvenue and Main street. Winnipeg police Const. Rob Carver said a man in his 20s was stabbed and rushed to hospital.

The man is currently in stable condition.
