Police find body of missing woman

Police have found the body of a woman who had been missing since the end of October.

Miranda McKinney, 50, was last seen in Swan Lake First Nation on the afternoon of Oct. 29. Her family reported her disappearance on Tuesday.

Her family told police it was unusual for McKinney to not let anyone know that she was going somewhere.

There is no word on where her body was found and in what condition.

Police said it's too early to tell if foul play is suspected in McKinney's death.

The investigation continues.
