Pop stars Bieber, Gomez cruise Winnipeg

Fans of pop stars Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez were sent into delirium after the famous couple was spotted outside a Winnipeg movie theatre.

Bieber and Gomezrented one of the theatres at the Silver City cinemas in the Polo Park neighbourhood for a private showing of ReelSteel on Thursday night.

Some fans got whiff of the singers' whereabouts and staked out the theatre. Gomez and Bieber rushed out to a waiting SUV while fans screamed and scrambled to get into their own vehicle to follow.

Gomez is in the city for a concert Friday night atthe MTS Centre as part of her We Own The Night tour.

Her beau, Bieber, flew in to be with her and the two were spotted earlier in the dayat The Forks marketplace, where a young Bieber once busked for change.

His dad is from Winnipeg and Bieber spent time growing up in the city.

Bothhe and Gomez have tweeted about being happy to be in Winnipeg.

"I had a great day here in Winnipeg. I can't wait to see y'all tomorrow!!" Gomez tweeted.

She also posted a picture of the MTS Centre on her Facebook site.
