RCMP search for missing camper at Shoe Lake

RCMP are searching for a camper who went missing from Nopiming Provincial Park Saturday afternoon.

RCMP are searching for a camper who went missing from Nopiming Provincial Park Saturday afternoon.

Christopher Cloutier, 24, was camping with friends over the weekend when he got separated from the group.

The three men he was camping with went back to camp, but Cloutier didnt.

Now, RCMP and Manitoba Conservation crews are searching for the 24 year old by foot, boat and helicopter.

Cloutier is about six-foot-one-inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds.

He was last seen wearing white shorts, but he also had a pair of jeans, a sweater and a hoodie in his backpack.

RCMP believe he had food and supplies in the bag.

Cloutier's disappearance is the second in a matter of weeks at the provincial park.

Two young girls got separated from their group on Aug. 13. They were later found with the help of a pilot from Gimli.
