Reactions to Hargrave homicides mixed among Winnipeg's homeless
2 men killed hours apart on Hargrave Street Saturday, likely by same person, say police
Members of Winnipeg's homeless community are taking the twohomicides on Hargrave Street over the weekend in different ways. But even after the killings of two vulnerable men in the city's core, some of the city's homeless said they aren't concerned enough to avoid downtown.

The two victims, one in his 40s and one in his 60s, were found dead in back alleys off Hargrave hours apart Saturday. One of the men was homeless, while police said the other lived a similar lifestyle but wasn't technically homeless.
Saul Lescarbeau, who has been homeless for about 2months, said the incidents won't impact his daily life.
"People that have got nothing ... it doesn't matter what we do. We'll live how we live and that's it," said Lescarbeau.
Colinda Vandale is also homeless andstaying at the Salvation Army Booth Centre. She's more perturbed than Lescarbeau.
"It's scary. That's why when I'm out in the middle of the night I stay in front of the doors there because there are cameras there to have a smoke," she said.
Winnipeg police have released pictures of a person of interest in the killings of the two men and are hoping to contact two others who may have information that could help investigators.
Police haveadvised everyone who is homeless or frequently out downtown at night to be careful, travel in groups or pairs, and not to go into secluded places.
