Man assaulted at Redwood and Aikins

An adult male was taken to hospital after an assault in Winnipeg's William Whyte neighbourhood Friday afternoon.

Police were called to a home near Redwood Avenue and Aikins Street at 4 p.m.

Officers, including the identification unit, remained on site at 6:30 p.m.

Police saidno further information about the man's condition, or a possible suspect, was available Friday evening.
