Winnipeg police are looking for a third person wanted in connection to the death of a missing woman last seen nearly a year ago.

Taylor Lena Ray Moose, 25, is wanted on a warrant of first-degree murder in connection to the death of Shelby Hayward, 30, police saidin a Monday news release.

Moose is about five feet and four inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. She has a thin build, auburn hair and brown eyes.

Hayward was last seen at CF Polo Park mall on Oct. 20, 2023, the Winnipeg Police Service said in a missing person notice last January. She was reported missing in November.

Police now say information received earlier this year led homicide investigators to believe that Hayward is dead.

Three more people were identified as suspects in the 30-year-old's death alongside Moose, but police say one passed away during the investigation.

Tamara Moneyas, 24, was arrested in Winnipeg on Sept. 25, and Vincent Fontaine, 39, was arrested at the Headingley Correctional Institution a week later, police say.

Both have been charged with first-degree murder and were remanded into custody.

Police say Hayward's family has been notified about her death and request privacy.
