Winnipeg police searching for suspects after shooting sends man to hospital

Winnipeg police are searching for suspects after a shooting sent a man to hospital late Saturday night.

Police said Sunday morning that the man was in stable condition

Winnipeg police are searching forsuspects after a shooting sent a man to hospital late Saturday night.

Police say there were called to Boyd Avenue and Parr Street around 8:10 p.m. The blocksare located right off Arlington Street.

Multiple neighbours tell CBC they saw a man who was shot in the leg lying on the ground at the end of a back lane.

"He wasn't saying anything. He was just kind of laying there," saidJodiAnderson, who livesacross the street.

Forensic investigators were taking photos of the scene when CBC arrived.

A Winnipeg police spokesperson said Sunday morning that no arrests had been made.

The man was in stable condition, police said.
