An arrest warrant has been issued for the driver of a semi-trailer involved in a head-on crash that killed a 21-year-old man last summer.

34-year-old Randolph Enns was a no-show in a Winnipeg courtroom Wednesday, where he was supposed to face charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

21-year-old Derek Bossuyt was killed when the semi Enns was driving slammed head-on into his pickup truck on the Trans-Canada Highway in Headingley, Man. on July 22, 2013.

Bossuyt was leaving a baseball game at the John Blumberg complex and was on his way to his evening work-shift.

Enns is also charged with resisting arrest when police officers tried to take him in at the scene of the crash.
