4 ejected from vehicle in fatal crash east of Swan River, RCMP say

A crash three kilometres north of the rural municipality ofMinitonas, Man., left one man dead and three injured after they were ejected from their vehicle, RCMP say.

RCMP were called to a single-vehicle collision Saturday just after 5 a.m.Officers found four men who had been thrown from a vehicle during a crash.

A 27-year-old man from Swan River died in hospital, while the three others were treated for their injuries.

Investigators have determined the vehicle was travelling southbound when it drove off the gravel road and hit a hydro pole before rolling.

RCMP believe alcohol played a factor and continueto investigate the collision.
