Teen stabbing victim expected to die

A 15-year-old boy who was stabbed multiple times on Saturday is not expected to live, police say.

A 15-year-old boy who was stabbed multiple times on Saturday is not expected to live, police say.

Investigators have been notified by the hospital that the boyis being kept aliveby machinestemporarily.As a result, the stabbing is now being investigated as a homicide.

The boy's death would be the city's 30th homicide victim of the year.

Police and ambulance crews were dispatched to the intersection of College Avenue and Aikins Street around 2:30 a.m.

The boy was with another person when they were approached by a group of males and a fight broke out, police said, noting they believe it isa gang-related attack.
