Thelma Krull: Police seek to identify new possible witnesses

Winnipeg police are hoping to speak with a woman and the occupants of an SUV who were in the Valley Gardens area the morning Thelma Krull went missing.

Winnipeg police are hoping to speak with a woman and the occupants of an SUV who were in the Valley Gardens area the morning Thelma Krull went missing.

Krull, 57, went for a walk in the north part of Transconaon the morning of July 11. When she never returned, family became concerned and called police. Several community-led search efforts have taken place since then, but very few details have emerged to help with the investigation.

On Friday, police released new details they hope willhelp advance the search.

A newer model,dark-coloured Dodge Caravan orVolkswagen Routan was seennear Civic Park in the Valley Gardens area the morning Krull went missing.Police believe Krull was in the area and are hoping to speak with the occupants of the vehicle.

Police would also like to talk with awoman they believewas walking a dog in the same neighbourhood at 8 a.m.

She is described as 5'4'' with a medium build and dark brown hair. A witness in the area said shewas wearing earbuds at the time, police said. The dog she was seen with is brown, about knee high and could be a German shepherd.
