A group that has been looking for Thelma Krull says its search party numbers are dwindling 2months after she went missing.

Bill McCausland, the leader of the group, said fewer and fewer people are coming out for the weekly searches.

"We used to get anywhere from 30 to 60 people out and now we are down to basically four of us," McCausland said, adding he has been looking for Krull "since day one."

"All of a sudden all of these people, all of these searchers started dwindling off, and I have continued."

McCausland has no connection to Krull, but felt compelled to search after seeing the story on the news.

Krull, 57, was last seen in the morning of July 11 at her homein the north part ofTranscona. She went out on a walk and never returned.

Groups have been searching for her ever since. One of the only promising leads developed when Krull's glasses were discovered on a hill in the Valley Gardens area.

McCausland said "it's frustrating" to see so few people continuing to search for Krullwhen hebelieves "she is still out there somewhere and can safely be returned home.

"The City of Winnipeg I know is a very passionateand generous city, and I am really hoping that they can come out and help us search. We've only got four people left; we need as many people as we can before the snow falls."

The Krullfamily upped the rewardto $20,000for information related toher whereabouts in mid-September.

McCausland saidpeople who want to help should go on the group's Facebook page "Thelma KrullSearch Party," which is meant to attract new members to join the search.

The group, whichsearches on weekends and everyWednesday night, is back at it again tonight. They areheading outWednesday at 5:30 p.m. on FilbertCrescent, the street where Krulllives.
