The western Winnipeg riding Kirkfield Park has been around since 1981.

The riding is bounded to the south by the Assiniboine River and by Portage Avenue, and Ness Avenue from Sturgeon Road to Mount Royal Road, to the north. The western boundary is the Winnipeg city limits and the eastern boundary runs along Mount Royal Road.

The riding includes the neighbourhoods of St. Charles, Westwood, Birchwood and Silver Heights.

Kirkfield Park's population is 22,485, says the province's riding profile (compiled from the 2021 census).

The median age of the riding is older than the overall provincial median, at 46.8 compared to 38.4 provincewide, the riding profile and the 2021 census say. The census found the median household income in the area is $85,000.

  • Dennis Bayomi (Green Party).
  • Kevin Klein (Progressive Conservative incumbent).
  • Logan Oxenham (NDP).
  • Rhonda Nichol (Liberal).

Candidates become official when they meet criteria set out in the province's Elections Act, including providing a statement of disclosure, after the election has been called. In Kirkfield Park,all candidates are official.
