Windy, cold Friday ahead for Winnipeg

A fresh snowfall overnight, combined with the wind,has also left some roads treacherously slick in the area.

Meanwhile, a freezing drizzle advisory is in effect for the southeast corner of Manitoba, affecting Sandilands, Piney and Sprague. Extreme caution is advised if you're driving in that area of the province.
