An 87-year-old cyclist has died in a collision with a vehicle on Hamilton Avenue in west Winnipeg, police say.
The crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. Friday
An 87-year-old cyclist has died in a collision with a vehicle on Hamilton Avenue in west Winnipeg, police said.
The crashhappened shortly before3 p.m. Friday. According to police theman, was travelling in the same direction as the vehicle, which had a boom lift attached to it.
The driver was shaken up and stayed on the scene after the crash, police said.
The incident shut down Hamilton Avenue between Vimy Road and Valley View Drive.
Traffic Update: Motor vehicle collision on Hamilton involving a cyclist is a confirmed fatality. Hamilton remains closed.
