Winnipeg fire crews extinguish blaze on McGee Street

Winnipeg fire crews extinguished a blaze at a home in the 400 block of McGee Street Monday night.

Crews were called out to the West End home around 9:30 p.m. where afence and trash were burning.

Police said garbage, including amattress, was set ablaze in a yard and the flames spread to the fence.

Fire officials say no one was hurt but a man has been arrested.

The arson unit is investigating.
