So what we've got here is your basic story of first love, framed against the quintessentially Canadian backdrop of summer hockey camp.

The premise is simple but the skilled storytelling and effortless character transitions elevate this one man show. Sam Mullins is, in his own words, as "cute as a baby dressed as a muffin." His performance is so appealing that when the lights went up I was surprised to see I was still dressed I was sure he had charmed the pants right off of me.

Mullins had the audience in the palm of his hand from the start. They laughed, they groaned, they might have even misted up a little. It's a nice mixture of the ludicrous, the sweet, and the introspective.

If you like your theatre sweet and smooth, then this is the sauce for you.

Fall in love, for the first time, all over again.
