Winnipeg man missing since August found safe

A man who was missing for nearly a month has been found safe.

The 39-year-old man was reported missing after he last seenin the area of Selkirk Avenue and McPhillips Street on Aug. 10,Winnipeg police said in a news release Friday.

In an update later in the day, they said he had beenfound safe.

CBC News has removed his name and image to protect his identity now that he has been found.
