Large police presence at rental property in Armstrong's Point

Winnipeg police are investigating an incident at a rental property in Armstrong's Point near theMisericordiaHealth Centre.

Officers and an ambulancewere dispatched to thehome on Middle Gate, south of Cornish Avenue, around7:40 a.m. Tuesday.

The property remained taped off into the evening and investigatorscould be seentaking photos and scouring the yard outside.

The houseis split into at least three suites, neighbours say. Investigators appeared to focus their attention on the main floor, where they were taking photographs.

Residents in the affluent neighbourhoodsay the rental property often attracted university students.

Police declined to share any details regardingthe incident, but said more information would be available on Wednesday.
