Ever wonder how the Winnipeg Police Service's canine officers are raised and trained? Now you can follow its latest litterin a new YouTube series called "Tracking our Puppies."

Eight puppies were born under the police service's in-house canine breeding program in mid-September.

"All eight pups are healthy and growing and we're looking forward to really get busy really soon," Sgt. Dave Bessason says in the first video of the series, posted on YouTube on Tuesday.

Bessason is seen weighing a female puppy before she rejoins the rest of the litter.
