Winnipegger's website driven by Sheen quotes

A website created by a Winnipegger has gone viral on the internet, propelled by the Sheenanigans of a Hollywood celebrity.

Jarrett Moffatt created the website, Live the Sheen Dream,after hearing about all of the strange things being said by actor Charlie Sheen, such as: 'I've got tiger blood and Adonis DNA.'

The sitegenerates random quotes from the Two and a Half Men star, who has dominatedheadlines in recent days with threats of a lawsuit andramblings in media interviewsand a live stream on an internet website.

Moffatt saidhe and a friend created Live the Sheen Dream lastweekend. It features a cutout Sheen head that, when clicked, prompts a new quote to pop up.

The head recorded 16 million clickson Tuesday alone andpeople such as celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton and musician Fred Durst have tweetedlinks to it.

"And actually, Charlie Sheen there's an interview today in Boston and they actually showed him the, they told him about the website, and he called it 'epic.' So that was really cool," Moffatt said.

Moffatt, who has been interviewed by numerous U.S. media outlets, said he hasmade a little money from people wanting T-shirts with Sheen's quotes butthe website is primarily a social media experiment.

He said he never dreamed it would become so popular anddoesn't think he's exploiting Sheen.

"I say really, at the core of it, I really think that all these weird and way-out-there things he's saying, I think he's very conscious of what he's saying and I think he's in on the joke," Moffatt said.
