Winnipeggers ditch their toboggan and go boat sledding

A Winnipeg man got a boat from his friend and decided to use it as a toboggan. CBC's Trevor Dineen met up with him at Omand's Creek for a wild ride.

Hit the toboggan hill and you're sure to see a few different kinds of sleds flying across the snow. There are classic wooden sleds, GT snow racers, magic carpets and more than likely an inner tube or two.

But have you ever seen a boat on a snow hill? Winnipegger Rick Unger can be spotted sailing one down the banks at Omand's Creek. The CBC's Trevor Dineen met up with him.
