Wolseley apartment death may be suspicious: police

Winnipeg police say a death in an apartment block in the city's Wolseley neighbourhood may be suspicious.

Winnipeg police say a death in an apartment block in the city's Wolseley neighbourhood may be suspicious.

The death was reported just before 6 p.m. CT Tuesday at the Madison apartment building on Evanson Street.

At least six police cars and an ambulance responded that night, witnesses told CBC News.

Police cars were parked outside the building Wednesday afternoon.

The building has been the source of trouble before: police shot and killed a knife-wielding man who attacked other tenants there in March 2007.
