Dinosaurs Alive exhibit coming to Assiniboine Park Zoo
15 animatronic dinos to be on display at end of May, zoo says
Fifteen life-size, animatronicdinosaursfrom the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods will be on display at the Assiniboine Park Zoo this summer.
Dinosaurs Alive!opens at the end of May and is"set to be the city's biggestsummer attraction" this summer, the zoo said.
"Dinosaurs Alive!will be a prehistoric playground for people of all ages and a true adventure of science and discovery that we know our visitors from near and far are absolutely going to love,"Gary Lunsford, head of zoological operations at the zoo, said in a release Tuesday morning.

The robotdinoswill be located in the northwest part of the zoo along a forest trail. The exhibit has previously taken up residence at zoos and amusement parksin Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Minnesota, Ohio and Chicago.
Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rex,MojoceratopsandKosmoceratopswill be among the species on display to the public, aswill a fossil dig site for kids.
The exhibit will be openfor a limited time only.Zoo-goers won't be charged extra to see the exhibit.
