Advanced polling in Quebec byelection starts Sunday

Voters are able to head to the advanced polls for the Quebec byelection for two days starting Sunday.

Voters are able to head to the advanced polls for the Quebec byelection for two days starting Sunday.

The provincial byelectionwill be heldin the Montreal ridingofSaint-HenriSainte-Anne, in the Laval riding of Fabre,in Beauce-Sud and inRen-Lvesque, on Quebec's North Shore.

Advanced polls are open from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET both Sunday, Nov. 1and Monday, Nov. 2.

Premier Philippe Couillard announced in early October the byelectionto replace four vacant posts in the National Assembly.

Three Liberal MNAs Robert Dutil, Gilles Ouimet and Marguerite Blaishave stepped down in recent months.

Marjolain Dufour, an MNA for the Parti Qubcois, retired in September citing health reasons.

Voting day is Nov. 9.
