CAA-Quebec's 'worst roads' list ranks Montreal's Gouin Blvd. East in top 10
Number of potholes and placement of bike path among factors
Voted as the worst in Montreal, it's ranked sixth on the list of worst roadsin the province.
CAA-Quebec says voters had to take a number of factors into consideration when voting in theannual campaign. Among the criteria:the number of potholes and the placement and width of cyclingpaths.

"Potholes, asphalt crumbling and falling into the river, a bike path with 97 utility poles sunk right in the middle, no sidewalk in some spots these are just a few problems that typify this road,"Corinne Tastayre wrote in her vote for Gouin Boulevard East.
"This, despite the fact that it's designated as a heritage and scenic road."
Top 5 worst roads in Montreal
Based on votes cast, CAA-Quebec ranked the following as the top 5 worst roadsin Montreal:
- Gouin BoulevardEast.
- Notre-Dame StreetEast.
- Sherbrooke StreetEast.
- Papineau Avenue.
- St-Zotique StreetEast.
