The opening of the Centre hospitalier de l'Universite de Montralsuperhospitalhas been pushed back again, according to theconsortium Construction sant Montral (CSM).

The CSM says that the delay is due to "the pursuit of the highest standard of quality."

The delay means its first patients likely won't be transferred until late 2017 or early 2018.

This isn't the first time the superhospital has been subject to delays.

In January, it was announced that the spring 2016 completion date would need to be pushed into the fall.

Health Minister Gatan Barrette had set Nov. 6, 2016 as thenew target date, but he confirmed earlier this month that date would not be met.
