Teen suspect dies after Cte Saint-Luc altercation

A teenager has died after he fell during an altercation at the corner of Westover Road and Westminster Avenue.

A teenager has diedafter he fell during an altercation with a woman he was allegedly trying to rob.

Police say two male suspects, a 15-and 17-year-old, attempted to rob a woman at the corner of Westover Road and Westminster Avenue in Cte Saint-Luc around 7:45 p.m. Thursday night.

During the robbery, the 17-year-old felland hit his head, said Jean-Pierre Brabant of the Montreal police.

Police were called to the scene and the teen was taken to hospital, where he later died.

The 15-year-old suspect was picked up by police not too far away. The woman was treated for shock.

Police cordoned off the area as they investigated.
