Couple embarks on ultimate baseball trip as Expos tribute

A young Montreal couple are on a mission to visit every single baseball stadium across North America as an homage to the gone-but-not-forgotten Montreal Expos.

A young Montreal couple are on a missionto visit every single baseball stadiumacross North America as an homage to the gone-but-not-forgotten Montreal Expos.

Gabriel Morissette and Adry Laurin, who are both involved with theExpos Nation fan site, hit the road on July 1 and headedto the historic Fenway Park in Boston, Mass., for their first game.

They followed that up the next day atNew York's Yankee Stadium; up next is the New York Mets game on July 4.

Morissette and Laurin intend to hit all 30 Major League Baseballparks by the end of September, wrapping up their ultimate baseball trip at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. They're looking at the trip as an opportunity to promote the return of the Expos to Montreal.

They've been met with open arms by baseball fans across the United States, receiving offers of places to stay as well as friendly travel suggestions online.

The couple is chronicling their adventure at MontrealOnTheRoad.com, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.

The Montreal Expos played their last game in 2004 before moving to Washington, D.C., and becoming the Nationals.
