The AMT's Vaudreuil-Hudson, St-Jrme and Candiac rail linesresumed regularservice this morning after the CP Rail strike ended on Monday.

The 19,000 commuters who use the three lines every day struggled to find an alternative way to get around during the CP Rail strike.

The two sides of the labour dispute agreed to mediated arbitration on Monday.

Therewas originally confusion over whether the AMT lines would be back by Tuesday morning, because the union and CP needed to negotiateback to work protocol.

The strike by members of the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference began Sunday after contract talks failed to reach an agreement before a Saturday midnight deadline.
