The official opposition at Montreal city hall is now called Mouvement Montral.
Interim leader Lionel Perez made the announcement today.
The party was formerly named after its previous leader, Denis Coderre, but Coderreleft politics after he lost the election last month.
The official opposition has 25 of 65 seats on city council.
