Quebecer Denis Villeneuve's film Arrival gets 2 Golden Globe nods

Arrival's lead actress, Amy Adams, up for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture Drama and the film's score is up for Best Original Score.

A film directed by Quebecer Denis Villeneuvehasgarnered two Golden Globe nominations.

Arrival is nominated for best original score and its lead actress, Amy Adams, is nominated for best performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture Drama.

It's the second bit of good news in as many days for the film. Yesterday Arrival won two Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday: one for best adapted screenplay, and another for Best Horror/Science Fiction.

The movie stars Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. It tells the story ofan American linguist who needs to find a way to communicate with aliens.
