For Montreal's 375th year, CBC Montreal brings you Montreapolis a podcast series featuring people who are making modern Montreal.

The series, hosted by journalist Steve Rukavina, presents candid conversations with Montrealersfrom across the city'sever-evolvinglandscape,each offering theirunique perspective on life in today's Montreal.

From chef Antonio Park's confession ofhis father's disapproval, to TraceyDeer's reflections on Indigenous belonging and social norms, to AndrBouchard's musingson ethical boundaries within the police force, Rukavinadelves deep into the lives and experiences ofMontrealers who have helped make the city such a fascinating place.

From walking the beat in the 1970s to putting away Hells Angel Maurice "Mom" Boucher, retired head of the SPVM Major Crimes Unit Andr Bouchard casts a critical eye on shifts in Montreal's law enforcement culture.

Episode 4: The Survivor

His two-year battle with an aggressive form of cancer inspired Jamaican-Canadian rapper, producer and performer Jonathan Emile to take on social issues through art and activism.

Episode 5: The General Manager

Meg Hewings is the general manager of the city's first professional women's hockey team, Les Canadiennes, checking gender stereotypes in Montreal's iconic sport.
