At least 80 firefighters worked to put out a three-alarm fire in Montreal's Southwest borough late Monday.

The empty building is located on De l'glise Avenue near EadieStreet.

It was boarded up and didn't have water or electricity inside.

Firefighters saidthey saw people running away from the back of the building when they arrived.

They added that they believe the fire was deliberately set.

The building has been vacant for years and it has burned before back in 2013.
