Frdric Giasson, Montrealer, found safe and sound in Nepal

Missing Montrealer Frdric Giassonhas been found safe and sound in Nepal.
Giassonwas on a trip around the world when theearthquake hit outside ofKathmandu over the weekend.
Police in Nepal said the death toll from Saturday's earthquake has now topped 5,000.
Giasson, 20,was in thesmall village ofLuklaat the base of Mount Everest, when theearthquake hit.
After days without any word from his son, his father said he received a call shortly after midnight.
"He took a 12 hour bus and he came in toKathmandu... so the first thing he did was he called us," said fatherAntoine Giasson.
"We're really happy."
Giasson senior said he had been holding out hope his son had survived the deadly earthquake.
"I was sure he wasn't dead, but you never know," he said.
