Police investigating homicide of man in Mont-Joli, Que.

Quebec provincial police's homicide squad is investigating the death of a man in his 40s in Mont-Joli in theBas-Saint-Laurent region.

Suret du Qubec (SQ)officers responded to a 911 call at around 11:45 a.m. on Saturdayconcerning a possible altercation at a home on Aubin Street.

When officers arrived, they found the victim seriously injured. He was transported to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The SQ says patrol officers in Rimouski intercepted several suspects who are being questioned by authorities.
