Jean Dor diagnosed with pancreatic cancer

Jean Dor, the former mayor of Montreal from 1986 to 1994, has pancreatic cancer.

Dor, 69, learned three weeks ago that he has the disease, which is practically incurable.

He had no symptoms of pancreatic cancer prior to his diagnosis.

In an interview with the Journal de Montral, Dor said hes learning to accept the fact hes going to die.

Dor said he hopes to spend the time he has left with his family and friends.
