Age-progressed sketches of missing indigenous teens released 7 years later

It's been seven years since teens Shannon Alexander and Maisy Odjik vanished from Maniwaki, Que. without so much as their IDs and purses.

It's been seven years sinceShannon Alexander andMaisy Odjick vanished without so much as their IDs and purses.

The teens were going out to dance that September night in 2008and were supposed to spend the night at Alexander's house in Maniwaki, north of Gatineau.

All of their belongings were found the next day at the home, but the girlswere nowhere.

On the anniversary of their disappearance, Quebec provincial police are renewing their appealfor information in the hope of finding out what happened to the girls.

Investigators have collaborated with the OPP, the RCMP and theKitiganZibiAnishinabegpolice department in their attempt to find the young women, but without success.

They've now released sketches of what the young women, who would now be 24 years old, may look like today.

Alexander is described as five feet nine inches tall and weighed around 145 pounds at the time of her disappearance. She has black hair and brown eyes and a scar on her left knee. She speaks English.

MaisyOdjick

Odjick is described as five feet 10 inches tall and weighed 120 pounds at the time of her disappearance. She has black hair and brown eyes. She has a piercingin her left eyebrow and two on her lower lip.
