Memorial planned for slain Mont-Saint-Hilaire woman
Facebook event calls Daphn Huard-Boudreault a 'ray of sunshine', invites mourners to honour her memory
A vigil in honour of Mont-Saint-HilairewomanDaphn Huard-Boudreault,who was stabbed to death Wednesday in her apartment, will take place next week at a localhigh school in the community southeast of Montreal.
The Facebook event page says Huard-Boudreaultwas "a ray of sunshine, which alone could light up the whole universe."
Sympathizers and people who knew her have been posting on the page.
A client ofDpanneurBeau-SoirinOtterburnParkwhere she worked posted that his thoughts were with Huard-Boudreault'sfamily.
"She was always a very likable young girl,"Jean-Franois Foley posted Friday morning.
"Always a little, 'Hello!' followed by a pleasant exchange."
The event page invites all well-wishersto come pay homage to her memory onApril 1 at 8 p.m.
Pratte-Lops did not enter a plea. The defence wanted to wait to evaluate more proof since it only received part of the evidence.
His next court appearance is April 19 and he has been barred from contacting the victim's family while detained.
