A company based in the West Island is working to provide prosthetic hands to amputees in 60 developing countries.
Bromelin People Practices isa Beaconsfield-based company that offers a unique kind of team-building exercise in its corporate training seminars.
It teaches people how to make prosthetic hands.
"There are companies that spend a lot of money on team-building activities and don't necessarily get anything out of it after except for a binder," said Jenny Simpson, a consultant with the firm.
"And this way, they're giving back, and it changes somebody's life in these countries."
