Montreal singing phenom Nikki Yanofsky will take the stage at a star-studded Grammys event honouring one of her favourite singers, Barbra Streisand.

Yanofsky will performSundaywith 12-time Grammy-winning jazz pianist Herbie Hancock and sing amid a lineup that includes Tony Bennett, Diana Krall, Stevie Wonder and Barry Manilow.

But the 17-year-old is not nervous.

"I don't really get nervous," Yanofsky said emphatically. "I get nervous when I feel that I'm not prepared. But I've been preparing a lot for this, so I'm pretty sure that it'll be all good."

Yanofsky is no stranger to pressure-packed performances.

Last February, she stood in front of the world and delivered a jazzy take on "Oh Canada" at the opening of the Vancouver Games.

She performed at the Olympics' closing, too, as well as at the Paralympic Games.
