1 dead, 3 injured in shooting in Anjou

A 31-year-old man is dead and two men and a woman were injured in a shooting early Sunday.

A 31-year-old man is dead and three other people are in hospital after a shootingin Anjou.

The shots were fired around midnight near a reception hall and the Semolina restaurant located near the corner of Jarry Street and Parkway Boulevard.

The first police officer who arrived at the scene discovered four injured people. The 31-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he later died.

The other victims are two men and a woman ranging in ages from 25 to 32. One of the men and the woman were seriously injured, while the other man sustained minor injuries. Police say none of their lives are in danger.

Investigators from the Montreal police's major crimes unit wereon the scene meeting with witnesses and trying to get more information.

Police say so far, they have no motive and no suspects.
