Paul St-Pierre Plamondon to announce Parti Qubcois leadership bid

Paul St-Pierre Plamondonis set to publicly announcehe's joining the Parti Qubcois leadership race.

The 39-year old lawyer and author will be the fifth candidate to run in hopes ofreplacingPierre Karl Pladeau, who stepped down in early May.

Martine Ouellet,Jean-Franois Lise, Vronique Hivron and Alexandre Cloutier are also in the running.

Radio-Canada is reporting that Plamondon will make the announcement at Montreal's Place milie-Gamelin.
