Pie-IX Boulevard to remain closed until Saturday after water main break

Pie-IX Boulevard remains closed in both directions between Jarry and Everett streetsfollowing a major water main break last Friday.

The boulevard will stay closed until at least Saturday, Nov. 7.

On Friday, a 48-inchpipe ruptured at the corner of Pie-IX Boulevard and Villeray Street, flooding streets and basements.

Close to800 homes and businesses in the St-Michel neighbourhood were left in the dark and hundreds of homes were evacuated.
