Qubec Solidaire celebrates 10 years with party, shout-out from Xavier Dolan
'We were born small but we will become big,' QS spokesperson and MNA for Gouin Franoise David said
QubecSolidaire is celebrating 10 years in the Quebec political scene with a party at Club Soda tonight.
Party spokespeople Franoise David and Andrs Fontecilla used the occasion to highlight how theybelievethe party has grown, and how the province has regressed.
Founded in 2006, the left-wing, sovereignistparty says its goal is to establish a majority government in the next 10 years.

Party set
To celebrate their anniversary a free party is happening tonight at Club Soda.

Politicians David,Fontecilla, Amir Khadir and Manon Mass will be present along with public figures like author Normand Baillargeon, singer Bia, director Hugo Latulippe.
Quebec director Xavier Dolan will be there in spirit via a recording he made to support the party on their anniversary.
Moving forward
David says that whilesovereignty is a shared goalbetween QS and thePartiQubcois, where the parties stand on other issues like pipelines plays a role in whether or not QS will considerjoining forces with the PQ.
"As sovereignists, we have the same ideas. But, sovereignty is one thing. There are many other issues that are very important for us. Like, all questions of environment, oil, gas," David said.
