Health Minister Gatan Barrette says the province is launching an online tool which will connect patients with family doctors.

Under Bill 20, Barrette promised that85 per cent of Quebecers willhave family doctors byDec. 31, 2017.

That promise was made in an agreementsigned with theFdration des mdecins omnipraticiens du Qubec last May.

The database launched yesterday can be found here.

This tool will replace the other databases that were in place before Bill 20 abolished the various social services and health centres.

Those people already in databases will keep their priority, however.
